SoupHerb is an unique cafe located in historic downtown Greenfield, Indiana, in the historic Creative Arts and Event Center, serving a specialty lunch menu, catering, and other special events.
Chef and owner Suzanne Kosovich brings her years of experience and impeccable taste to her custom menu of culinary offerings providing you one of the most unique dining experiences in central Indiana.
Chef Suzanne grew up in northern Indiana, where her parents grew extraordinary produce in their greenhouse and gardens, prepared exotic meats and dishes, and learned to cook them well and appreciate the beauty of many different foods. From Asparagus to Rutabegas to Zucchini, food has always been a strong influence in her life.
In her home, the kitchen is and always has been the gathering place, the warmest, and the most fun-not to mention where you'll generally find her. In Greenfield for the last 21 years, Suzanne has created and lovingly maintained her own gardens and greenhouse with her husband, Walter, and their daughter, Renee.
Chef Suzanne has worked at Barnabees, owned and operated Emily's Edibles, had a brief stint at the beginning of Victorian Rose, worked at Carnegies for nearly a decade, and even cooked for Rock Paper Scissors. The most important things to Chef Suzanne are family and food, and with SoupHerb she gets to work with both. Her soups, which many say are her specialty, are homemade and delicious. Everything at SoupHerb is made to order and with the freshest, finest ingredients. Food prepared simply, to bring out the fresh flavor and make tastebuds bloom is what Chef Suzanne does best.
SoupHerb is a friendly, artistic environment. Chef Suzanne has always appreciated the beauty of a well-prepared plate, and located within the Arts and Events Center in downtown Greenfield is the ideal place for her to work and grow.
Walter, Chef Suzanne's husband, is an experienced woodworker, and is skilled in stained glass, metal working, and even pottery. His eye for design and detail has helped create SoupHerb.
Renee, their daughter, is a professional cake decorator and has grown up creating and enjoying music, with experience in baking and pastries, along with an inherited passion for cooking and gardening.
Shari Spencer, CVO, a family friend and neighbor of 21 years has worked hand in hand with Chef Suzanne for many years and brings with her an elegant talent and extraordinary eye to SoupHerb. Shari is an invaluable member of the family and team.
